Scriptures to Pray and Declare Over Our Military

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. (Psalm 91:1)

I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!” (Psalm 91:2)

For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper And from the deadly pestilence. (Psalm 91:3)

He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark. (Psalm 91:4)

You will not be afraid of the terror by night, Or of the arrow that flies by day; (Psalm 91:5)

Of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, Or of the destruction that lays waste at noon. (Psalm 91:6)

A thousand may fall at your side And ten thousand at your right hand, But it shall not approach you. (Psalm 91:7)

You will only look on with your eyes And see the recompense of the wicked. (Psalm 91:8)

For you have made the LORD, my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place. (Psalm 91:9)

No evil will befall you, Nor will any plague come near your tent. (Psalm 91:10)

For He will give His angels charge concerning you, To guard you in all your ways. (Psalm 91:11)

He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. (Psalm 121:3)

Even there Your hand will lead me, And Your right hand will lay hold of me. (Psalm 139:10)

This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. (Lamentations 3:21)

The LORD’S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. (Lamentations 3:22)

They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:23)

For who is God, but the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God, (Psalm 18:31)

The God who girds me with strength And makes my way blameless? (Psalm 18:32)

Be strong and let your heart take courage, All you who hope in the LORD. (Psalm 31:24)

Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary. (Isaiah 40:31)

“No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their vindication is from Me,” declares the LORD. (Isaiah 54:17)

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. (James 1:5)

Prepare plans by consultation, And make war by wise guidance. (Proverbs 20:18)

`Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ (Jeremiah 33:3)

“Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalm 46:10)

but we have renounced the things hidden because of shame, not walking in craftiness or adulterating the word of God, but by the manifestation of truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. (2 Corinthians 4:2)

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, (2 Corinthians 4:3)

in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (2 Corinthians 4:4)

For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesus’ sake. (2 Corinthians 4:5)

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; (Matthew 5:14)

nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. (Matthew 5:15)

“Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 5:16)

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, (Ephesians 1:18)

and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might (Ephesians 1:19)

so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, (Ephesians 3:17)

may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, (Ephesians 3:18)

and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. (Ephesians 3:19)

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, (Ephesians 3:20)

Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? (Psalm 139:7)

Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them. (Psalm 139:16)

`For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, `plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)

God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)

Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change And though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; (Psalm 46:2)

The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold. Selah. (Psalm 46:7)

casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7)

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. (Philippians 4:6)

And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)

The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. (Philippians 4:9)

A father of the fatherless and a judge for the widows, Is God in His holy habitation. (Psalm 68:5)

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13)

Surely our griefs He Himself bore, And our sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted. (Isaiah 53:4)

But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)

All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him. (Isaiah 53:6)

He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds. (Psalm 147:3)
